Over 15 years in the IT Industry have guided me to my own corner of the internet, where I can share my daily experiences, challenges, and successes. A little back story
Class of 1983, an academic background as a Political Science graduate, and an experience of over 15 years as a founder and manager of an IT Managed Services business focused on Cybersecurity and Business Continuity.
I've been on the Advisory Council of one of the biggest security companies in the world, and currently, I serve as the President of a Business Network voted to promote innovation; I am also a TEDx speaker, a teacher, and a writer; one of my goals is to empower the people I work with in their career choices and personal development. When I co-founded my company, I knew I wanted to create "something good" for our clients, our team, and the community in which we live.
I always use Maya Angelou's words to describe my leadership style: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
